R. Jeffrey Kinch, Chairman & Owner
RES was his brainchild over 35 years ago, and he remains committed to its success. Mr. Kinch is a trained refrigeration and electrical specialist with a keen eye for quality brands. With kindness at his core, Mr. Kinch is dedicated to the upliftment of his team members and community.
Little known fact: Mr. Kinch has a military background as he served in the British Army.
Colin Jordan, Managing Director
Appointed at the helm of the business in January 2007, the new MD brings with him over 10 years management and accounting experience to the Company. Mr. Jordan is responsible for the strategic planning and overall operations of the company.
Little known fact: Mr. Jordan’s is 6’ 6” tall!
Donavan Willie, Sales & Service Manager
With a strong technical background, Mr. Willie oversees the daily operations of the Company. He has extensive experience in the electrical and refrigeration fields and competently leads the team of service professionals.
Little known fact: Mr. Willie loves to scuba dive in his spare time!
Accounts/Administrative Assistant
Ms. Atherley possesses over 17 years of accounting and administrative knowledge and experience. Hers is the welcoming voice that will greet you when you call. She believes that excellent customer service is crucial to success and her disposition never conceals her ever-evident jubilant spirit.
Little known fact: Ms. Atherley is an alto singer with the well-known folk group, Sing Out Barbados.
Internal Service Professional
Ms. Lowe is responsible for the scheduling of the Service Professionals’ daily assignments. To arrange a service or if there is an emergency, ‘J-Lo’ is always happy to assist you. Though she has an often quiet demeanour, Ms. Lowe is energetic in ensuring that our valued customers’ needs are met.
Little Known Fact: Ms. Lowe could never get lost in Barbados – she knows every district in every parish, and possibly everyone who lives there.
Senior Service Professional
Mr. Rudder is the longest-standing team member at RES with 7 years of service. He supervises the team members while on the road and is the main liaison with the Internal Service Professional.
Little known fact: Mr. Rudder is an avid cricket fan and keeps track of the happenings in all local divisions.
Service Professionals
Mr. Jacobs joined the Service team in 2006 and plays a key role in maintaining and servicing the company’s products.
- Known Fact : Mr. Jacobs once placed third in the final of the Junior Monarch Calypso Competition during Crop Over.
Mr. Yarde is a recent addition to the team, joining in 2007 with previous experience in air conditioning maintenance. He is currently training in the maintenance of the Taylor soft serve ice cream machines.
- Known Fact: Despite his often open smile, Mr. Yarde is really an introvert who values a quiet atmosphere and time alone.
Ms. Atkins is a graduate of the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic and utilises the knowledge gained in maintaining clients’ air conditioning systems.
